I'm Sara
I established All Sorts Organizing because I recognized a real need. After helping my parents downsize from their home of 50 years, I saw how critical my assistance was and discovered that organizing was a tangible way I could help people. I later learned that Professional Organizing was actually an industry, and I knew I had to start my own business.
My background isn’t just in organizing — it’s in listening.
My interest in helping others goes back a long way. I studied psychology in college and received a master’s in marriage and family therapy. I have worked as a school counselor, domestic violence victim advocate, and a family therapist. I became a coach in 2020, and received an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation in 2023. I know that the piles on your desk and the paralysis in your mind are often connected. I don’t just help you sort your stuff. I help you sort out what’s getting in the way.
As you can see, helping people live more efficiently and fully is the foundation of all I do. Nothing should hold us back from making the most of life: not piles of clutter, crazy schedules, nor the self-sabotaging ways we think.
As relevant as my training is, it’s my life experience as a former Navy spouse (husband retired in 2022) and mother of three (now mostly grown) children that most informs my work. I understand family dynamics and life cycle changes. I empathize with people who want to make a change but aren’t quite sure how to. I know how it feels to be overwhelmed and in a state of transition. And I recognize the value of asking for help. It’s a difficult step, but one that will take you far.
